Hi all,
Karl and Debbie came up to our place for the weekend. We practiced every day and going for two rides a day was great for fitness as we practiced on just about every kind of surface. On Sunday we had an open day here at Rosewood Estate for some fundraising for when we go to Italy. Warren also came down for a demo at the Wellington Wharf. We had a great turn out and the three of us had a really good day and we also raised some money for the trip as well. Was a great weekend with fantastic weather. Thanks to all that helped with the weekend events, we really appreciate it.

20 November 2007 Another weekend down at Karl?s place. It was an early arrival into Nelson on Thursday and after Karl had finished work at lunchtime we set off for some training. We practiced on some hills under some gum trees in the cool shade, which had a heap of leaves on the ground, which made riding more challenging. On Friday and Saturday we concentrated on rocks and at the end of Saturday Karl and I put in a really hard section and I was so determined to get it, an hour and a half later I finally managed to clean it. Karl was really surprised at how good I rode the section. On Sunday we headed off to the Trials Park for a Club Day. It was a really hot day but at least there were some sections put in under the shade of the trees. All in all the weather was great for the whole weekend and got in heaps of practice.
